New Contest!  Tell us a JOKE!

Tomorrow is "National Tell a Joke Day"

so of course, that warrants another crazy contest!    

Here is what we want you to do:

Ask your child what his or her favorite joke is. 

Either video them telling the joke, OR simply type it out. 

Email this to Cyndi@KnowledgeBoxCentral.com by August 25th,

and we will announce the winners on August 27th.

We have 3 age categories and prizes:

New Contest!

National Camera Day Photo Contest

OK - so I know we have some pretty weird and wacky

contests here at Knowledge Box Central ~

but at least we aren't boring, right?!?

You may or may not know that June 29th is National Camera Day!

Exciting, right?

Well, we figure that everyone likes to use the camera,

so why not create a contest around it?

Of course, we couldn't just say, "Take a picture."

That would just not be weird enough for us!

So, we tried to come up with something unusual

to have you take pictures of for this contest.....

Want to know what we came up with?

 

Well... since we are Knowledge BOX Central

 

we thought it would be fun to have you send in pictures of YOU IN A BOX

 

Just get in a box in some really strange place that you wouldn't usually be in a box

(as if you would be IN A BOX anywhere, right?) and send it to us!

Here I am ~ IN A BOX, on our dock, fishing!

Here I am ~ IN A BOX, on a raft, in our pond, with my dog (Maggie), fishing!

I tried taking one of me IN A BOX and on my horse - and that ended VERY badly!

We will announce the winners in our newsletter on Monday, July 2nd. 

Winners will be chosen based on originality and creativity - so GET CREATIVE!

June is Aquarium Month, and THIS WEEK is "Fishing Week."  Have your child write a fun fish story. It can be about fishing, or even have a fish as a main character. It can even be a poem. YOU choose the length. These will be judged on originality and creativity ~ not on grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. JUST HAVE FUN! Bike Decorating Contest

May is National Bike Month, and THIS WEEK is National Bike Week!

 

In honor of this awesome holiday, we are having a bike decorating contest! 

We will choose 1 boy winner and 1 girl winner
